Rapper Travis Scott was detained at a Paris hotel on Friday after an altercation with a security guard, CBS News reports, citing French prosecutors.

Police were called to the Georges V hotel to arrest a man “nicknamed Travis Scott for violence against a security guard,” a statement from the Paris public prosecutor’s office said. The security guard reportedly intervened in an argument between Scott and his own bodyguard.

The incident occurred while Scott was in Paris for the Olympics. He was seen attending the US-Serbia men’s basketball semifinal on Thursday night.

Scott, whose real name is Jacques Webster, is one of the biggest names in hip hop, with over 100 songs on the Billboard Hot 100 list. He has two children with his former partner, Kylie Jenner.

Police are currently investigating the incident.
