Oasis has officially informed fans that they will not be performing at the Glastonbury Festival next year, following widespread speculation regarding a potential headline slot, Sky News reports.

Noel and Liam Gallagher announced the band’s upcoming reunion on Tuesday morning, ending weeks of anticipation and rumors. Prior to the announcement, reports had suggested that Oasis would not only be headlining Glastonbury but also conducting a record-setting ten-night run at Wembley Stadium.

However, the initial reunion tour lineup consists of four shows at Wembley Stadium, alongside four performances in Manchester, the band’s hometown, as well as concerts in Edinburgh, Dublin, and Cardiff. In their announcement, the band clarified that these would be the only European shows for the reunion tour.

Despite ongoing speculation about a possible appearance at Glastonbury 2025, Oasis directly addressed the rumors in a statement

“Despite media speculation, Oasis will not be playing Glastonbury 2025 or any other festivals next year. The only way to see the band perform will be on their Oasis Live ’25 World Tour,” the statement read.

The band also hinted at plans for additional dates outside of Europe, expanding the reach of their highly anticipated comeback tour. This reunion comes 15 years after Noel Gallagher’s departure from the band, which marked the end of Oasis.

Both brothers announced the reunion on their social media platforms. The reunion concerts are scheduled for July and August 2025, just missing the traditional late-June timing of the Glastonbury Festival.
