Adele Announces Extended Hiatus After Las Vegas Residency
  • PublishedSeptember 2, 2024

Adele will be taking a break from performing after completing her Las Vegas residency, Fox News reports.

During a recent performance in Munich, Germany, a fan captured a video of the singer telling the audience, “I have 10 shows to do, but after that I will not see you for an incredibly long time, and I will hold you dear in my heart.”

The announcement confirms that Adele’s current residency at The Colosseum Theater at Caesars Palace, which began in November 2022, will be her last for the foreseeable future.

The residency initially began in 2021, but was postponed by Adele due to production issues. In an emotional video, the singer apologized to fans for the delay, explaining that the caliber of her show was not yet ready.

Since resuming the residency, Adele has extended her dates several times, with her final shows scheduled from October 25th to November 23.

In July, Adele told Germany’s ZDF public broadcast service that she was looking to explore other “creative things.”
