Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk said that the government will prepare a comprehensive reconstruction plan for regions affected by recent floods in Poland, Bloomberg reports.

The plan, which will be implemented once the flood waters recede, will utilize funding from both the Polish state budget and the European Union.

“This plan will address the immediate needs of residents who have lost their homes and businesses,” Tusk stated during a press conference in Wroclaw, located in southwestern Poland. “We will also provide support to municipalities for rebuilding essential infrastructure damaged by the floods.”

The reconstruction plan will focus on restoring damaged properties and infrastructure, aiming to assist communities in recovering from the devastating impact of the floods.
