Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelensky has pushed for increased military support from Western nations as he keeps pressing for what he describes a peace summit to end the conflict with Russia, Bloomberg reports.

“Before winter, we need your support,” Zelensky said during a visit to Paris where he met with French President Emmanuel Macron.

His visit to Paris followed a trip to London, where he met with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer. Zelensky aimed to present his “victory plan.”

Zelensky has insisted that a ceasefire was not currently under discussion with European leaders. He plans to convene a second summit in November to advance his peace plan.
