The Wyoming Cowgirls wrapped up a flawless week on Saturday with a commanding four-set win at home against the New Mexico Lobos, winning 25–16, 19–25, 25–16, and 25–18, Oil City News reports.

Wyoming’s strong defense limited New Mexico’s offense, holding the Lobos to a low .140 hitting percentage, and excelling at the service line, where they outpaced New Mexico with a 12–3 advantage in aces—just one shy of their season high.

The Cowgirls led for much of the match, controlling the first and third sets and navigating a competitive fourth set that saw four ties and two lead changes before Wyoming secured the win. Emma Winter led the Cowgirls’ offense, delivering a career-high 17 kills with an impressive .382 hitting percentage. Winter also contributed eight digs, two aces, and six blocks, matching a career high in that category. Teammates Sarah Holcomb and Paige Lauterwasser also made strong contributions, with 14 and 10 kills, respectively.

Kasia Partyka, who earned her 11th double-double of the season, supported the offense with 43 assists and a team-leading 14 digs.

This home win kicks off a four-match home stretch for the Cowgirls, who next face San Diego State on Thursday, with first serve scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
