Vehicle Crashes Into Rock Springs Maverik Store; No Major Injuries Reported

The Rock Springs Police Department reported that no major injuries occurred after a car drove into the front of a Maverik convenience store in Rock Springs, Wyoming, on Thursday.

The incident took place at the Maverik located at 1225 Foothill Boulevard, prompting a quick response from local emergency services.

According to a statement posted on the Rock Springs Police Department’s Facebook page, officers, along with the Rock Springs Fire Department and Sweetwater County Sheriff’s Office, responded to the scene. Fortunately, neither the driver nor any individuals inside the store sustained serious injuries in the accident. As a precaution, however, the store was temporarily closed to the public while responders assessed the site and secured the area.

Further details about the cause of the crash have not been released, and the store remains closed as authorities continue their investigation.
