The Associated Press has projected that incumbent Sen. John Barrasso will retain his US Senate seat, defeating Democratic challenger Scott Morrow in the 2024 general election.

This early call comes before any official votes have been reported in Wyoming.

Sen. Barrasso, who has represented Wyoming in the Senate since 2007, currently serves as chair of the Senate Republican Conference, the third-ranking position within the GOP leadership. He is also the ranking member of the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee, where he has focused on issues related to energy policy and public lands.

This article will be updated with official vote totals as they become available.
