The Wyoming Cowboys secured a narrow 64-61 victory against Southeastern Louisiana on Friday night at the Arena Auditorium, Bigfoot99 Radio reports.

Despite leading by nine at halftime, the Cowboys had to fend off a strong second-half push from their opponent to notch their fourth win of the season, improving to 4-1.

Wyoming struggled offensively for much of the game but capitalized on second-chance opportunities, scoring 14 points off the offensive glass.

Jordan Nesbitt delivered a standout performance, recording his third double-double of the season with 13 points and an impressive 15 rebounds.

Head coach Sundance Wicks acknowledged the team’s resilience, emphasizing the importance of grinding out wins even on challenging nights.

The Cowboys will travel to the Cancun Challenge next week, facing Tulane on Tuesday at 4 p.m. MT. The game will air on CBS Sports Network.
