As the collegiate volleyball season concludes, three University of Wyoming Cowgirls have received recognition for their performances in the Mountain West Conference, Cap City News reports.

Paige Lauterwasser, a sophomore outside hitter, earned a spot on the Mountain West All-Conference Team for the first time. Lauterwasser averaged 14 kills per game and 3.44 kills per set, ranking eighth in the conference for points per set. She delivered standout performances throughout the season, recording over 20 kills in three matches.

Kasia Partyka, a senior setter, was also named to the Mountain West All-Conference Team, marking her second consecutive year earning this honor. Partyka averaged 9.47 assists per set, ranking fourth in the conference, and surpassed 30 assists in all but one conference match.

Sarah Holcomb, a middle blocker, received an honorable mention for her contributions. Holcomb averaged 1.42 blocks per set, just narrowly missing the top spot in the conference by 0.01 blocks. Her 2.07 kills per set placed her fifth in the league, demonstrating her strong two-way play.

The Cowgirls wrapped up the 2024 season with an overall record of 15–12, achieving a 56% winning percentage. They finished 7–11 in conference play, placing eighth in the Mountain West standings. Despite a challenging season, the individual achievements of Lauterwasser, Partyka, and Holcomb highlight the team’s talent and potential moving forward.
