Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming to Launch Winter Basketball Leagues

The Boys & Girls Clubs of Central Wyoming (BGCCW) are gearing up to host two winter basketball leagues for youth, providing opportunities to stay active, develop skills, and build friendships, My Country 95.5 reports.

The leagues, which cater to a range of age groups, will begin in January 2025.

The Youth Coed Winter Basketball League is open to children from kindergarten through eighth grade.

  • Season: January 20 – March 21, 2025
  • Eligibility: Youth in grades K–8
  • Fees: $45 per participant, plus a $10 yearly membership fee
  • Schedule:
    • Kindergarten through third grade: Games and practices on Mondays and Wednesdays
    • Fourth through eighth grade: Games and practices on Tuesdays and Thursdays, with occasional Fridays
  • Registration Deadline:
    • Early registration by January 3 for a $10 discount on the registration fee
    • Final registration closes January 15

The High School Coed Basketball League offers a competitive environment for teens in grades 9–12.

  • Season: February 1 – March 15, 2025
  • Eligibility: Youth in grades 9–12
  • Fees: $15 per participant, plus a $10 yearly membership fee
  • Schedule: Games held every Saturday at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and noon
  • Registration Deadline: January 24, 2025
