A tragic vehicle–pedestrian collision in Cheyenne claimed the life of 64-year-old Wyoming resident Reid Larimore on the evening of December 28.

According to the Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP), the incident occurred shortly before 5:45 p.m. as Larimore was walking toward the entrance of a convenience store. He was struck by a vehicle traveling southeast on Randall Avenue.

Preliminary reports from WHP indicate that driver inattention may have been a contributing factor in the fatal accident.

The incident remains under investigation, and no further details have been released at this time.
