The search for a missing 42-year-old Apple Valley pizza delivery driver, Shuefuab “Shue” Xiong, took a significant turn over the weekend when his car was discovered in Superior, Wisconsin.

Authorities reported that Xiong, who had been driving a red Toyota Camry with Minnesota plates, was seen in the vehicle in Superior on Saturday afternoon, but the car was found unoccupied by police the following day. Superior is located approximately 170 miles north of Apple Valley.

Xiong, who had been scheduled to make deliveries for Domino’s on January 14, failed to complete several deliveries that evening. His family expressed concern when he did not return home and later learned that the customers had reported they had not received their orders. Police also discovered that a friend had spoken to Xiong later on Saturday evening in Roseville, but the circumstances of how he traveled from Superior to Roseville remain unclear.

Investigators believe that Xiong may be experiencing a mental health crisis. While he is not considered a threat to others, authorities noted that he is known to carry a firearm and has a permit to do so. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) has issued a description of Xiong, stating that he is 5 feet 8 inches tall, weighs 215 pounds, has a black mustache, black beard, and brown eyes.

Xiong’s family has been vocal about their worries for his safety and well-being. In a written statement, they expressed their gratitude for the public’s support and prayers during this challenging time. To aid in the search, his family is offering a $20,000 reward for information leading to his safe return.

Anyone with information about Xiong’s whereabouts is encouraged to contact the Apple Valley Police Department at 952-953-2700. The investigation is ongoing, and authorities continue to work towards locating the missing driver.
