The second week of Wyoming’s indoor track season closely mirrors the first, with two in-state meets and one out-of-state event, Wyopreps.com reports.

This week, teams from the western and southwestern regions of Wyoming will travel to Utah for a two-day meet, while two separate competitions will be hosted in Gillette and Cheyenne.

Below is the schedule for this weekend’s events. Please note that schedules are subject to change, and results will be updated following the meets.

Friday, January 24

Weber State High School Indoor Invitational

  • Location: Weber State University Indoor Track, Ogden, UT
  • Events: Jumps and Throws only
  • Start Time: 4:00 p.m.
  • Teams Attending: Evanston, Green River, Mountain View, Rock Springs, Star Valley

Saturday, January 25

Campbell County Invite

  • Location: Campbell County Recreation Center Fieldhouse, Gillette, WY
  • Events:
    • Field Events begin at 9:00 a.m.
    • Track Events start at 10:00 a.m. on a rolling schedule
  • Teams Attending: Buffalo, Campbell County, Cheyenne East, Cody, Glenrock, Kelly Walsh, Lander, Laramie, Lovell, Powell, Riverton, Sheridan, Thunder Basin, Torrington, Worland

Kevin Salverson Invitational

  • Location: Central High School Fieldhouse, Cheyenne, WY
  • Events:
    • Long Jump for local athletes begins at 8:30 a.m.
    • 800-meter Track Event starts at 10:00 a.m.
    • Field Events begin at 10:00 a.m.
    • All other Track Events begin at 11:00 a.m.
  • Teams Attending: Burns/Pine Bluffs, Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Laramie, Rawlins, Wheatland

Weber State High School Indoor Invitational

  • Location: Weber State University Indoor Track, Ogden, UT
  • Events: Track Events only
  • Start Time: 9:00 a.m.
  • Teams Attending: Evanston, Green River, Mountain View, Rock Springs, Star Valley
