Dennis Trapani, Associate Athletic Director of Creative Services at the University of Wyoming, has been named chair for the 2025 SVG College Summit, SVG reports.

The annual event, which will be held on May 28-29 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta Downtown, brings together collegiate athletic professionals to discuss advancements in sports production and digital media.

As event chair, Trapani will play a pivotal role in shaping the agenda and guiding the themes and topics covered at the summit, which is open to industry professionals at no cost. The summit serves as a leading platform for networking and knowledge-sharing among collegiate athletic departments, conference offices, and media networks involved in live broadcasts, in-venue presentations, and digital media content.

Trapani joined the University of Wyoming Athletics in 2013 and was promoted to his current role in 2021. He oversees the operations of WYO-Vision, leading video and production efforts for the university’s 17 Cowboy and Cowgirl sports teams. Trapani is the lead producer and director for video board shows and live broadcasts of Wyoming Football, Men’s and Women’s Basketball games.

His tenure includes overseeing the design and construction of video boards and control rooms at War Memorial Stadium, Arena-Auditorium, and the UniWyo Sports Complex.

Before joining Wyoming Athletics, Trapani worked as associate director of multimedia at the College of Charleston, where he helped launch the school’s mobile production unit and produced broadcasts for ESPN3 and local networks. His career began at the United States Military Academy at West Point, where he contributed to the launch of the Black Knights’ KnightVision platform.

Trapani’s leadership as chair underscores his extensive experience and contributions to collegiate sports media. The SVG College Summit, now in its 17th year, continues to be a key event for professionals seeking insights and connections in the evolving landscape of sports production.
