Grimes Appeals to Elon Musk for Urgent Attention to Their Child’s Medical Issue

Grimes has taken to Elon Musk’s social media platform, X, to make an urgent plea for his attention to a “medical crisis” involving one of their children.

The Canadian singer, 36, publicly called on Musk, 53, to respond to her repeated attempts to communicate with him through texts, calls, and emails regarding the situation.

In her posts, which were later deleted, Grimes emphasized the seriousness of the matter, saying that it required immediate action. She expressed frustration, writing that it was no longer acceptable for Musk to ignore the issue and urged him to either respond personally or designate someone to handle the matter.

Grimes did not specify which of their three children was experiencing the medical issue. She posted, “Plz respond about our child’s medical crisis” and added that if Musk did not want to engage directly, he should find someone who could help. In response to a commenter who suggested her public appeal might not help, Grimes defended her decision, stating that the situation was dire, with the potential for long-term consequences if Musk failed to respond.

The couple, who have been through a tumultuous relationship and custody battle since their 2022 breakup, share three children: X Æ A-Xii, 4, Exa Dark Sideræl (Y), 3, and Techno Mechanicus (Tau), 2. Grimes did not reveal which child was affected by the medical crisis.

After her posts were removed, Grimes explained that she deleted them due to concerns about media exposure and the potential for them to be “shadow banned” or suppressed on the platform. Musk has yet to publicly respond to her plea, and he has been occupied with other matters, including attending the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC).

This public disagreement between Grimes and Musk adds to a history of strained relations between the former partners, including Grimes’ criticism of Musk’s political views and his actions with their children. Recently, she also expressed discomfort over Musk’s decision to bring their son, X, to a photo opportunity at the White House.
