Job seekers and employers in Sweetwater County will have an opportunity to connect at the upcoming Spring Job Fair, scheduled for Tuesday, February 25, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at White Mountain Mall near the State of Wyoming offices, WYO4News reports.
The event, hosted by the Rock Springs Workforce Center, is free for both employers and job seekers.
The Rock Springs Workforce Center organizes two job fairs annually, one in the spring and another in the fall. At the last job fair, employers reported 479 candidate connections, 135 on-the-spot interviews, and several immediate hires. Organizers aim to expand the event each year to better meet the workforce needs of the community.
Employers interested in participating can still reserve a table by contacting the Rock Springs Workforce Center at 307-382-2747. Job seekers do not need to register in advance—simply attend the event to explore job opportunities.
To help job seekers prepare, a resume workshop will be held on Thursday, February 20, at 10:00 AM at the Rock Springs Workforce Center, where staff will provide guidance on resume writing. Additionally, public computers are available at the center for resume updates during regular business hours (Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM, except for the holiday closure on Monday, February 17).
A list of participating employers is available and continues to be updated as more businesses join. Attendees can also enjoy food from Tips Kitchen, which will be selling breakfast and lunch items on-site.
