The 2025 WHSAA Wyoming State Wrestling Championship is underway at the Ford Wyoming Center in Casper from February 27 through March 1, WyoPreps reports.
Over the course of three days, high school wrestlers from across the state are competing for individual and team titles. The tournament features both boys’ and girls’ divisions, with matches taking place across seven mats.
Current Standings After Day One
Girls Division:
- Star Valley leads with 89 points
- Sheridan is in 2nd place with 49 points
- Cheyenne East is close behind in 3rd with 43 points
- Lander holds 4th place with 34.5 points
- Kemmerer rounds out the top five with 33 points
2A Boys Division:
- Moorcroft takes a commanding lead with 102 points
- Kemmerer follows in 2nd place with 77.5 points
- Thermopolis sits in 3rd with 68 points
- Cokeville holds 4th place with 64.5 points
- Greybull/Riverside is in 5th with 60.5 points
3A Boys Division:
- Powell leads a close race with 99 points
- Cody is just behind in 2nd place with 96.5 points
- Pinedale follows in 3rd with 74 points
- Torrington holds 4th place with 67.5 points
- Rawlins is in 5th place with 58.5 points
4A Boys Division:
- Thunder Basin takes a strong lead with 122 points, aiming for back-to-back titles
- Kelly Walsh is in 2nd place with 84.5 points
- Cheyenne East holds 3rd place with 72.5 points
- Star Valley is in 4th place with 68 points
- Natrona County is close behind in 5th with 66 points
