The Wyoming Cowgirls secured a hard-fought 68-55 comeback victory against Colorado State in a Border War matchup Saturday in Fort Collins.

After trailing early, Wyoming surged in the second half to claim the win.

Junior Malene Pedersen led the Cowgirls with 16 points, while senior Allyson Fertig, a Wyoming native from Glendo, contributed 14. Senior Emily Mellema, hailing from Lynden, Washington, added 11 points to round out a well-balanced scoring effort.

With this victory, Wyoming builds momentum heading into their regular-season finale on Wednesday night against UNLV. The Rebels, four-time reigning Mountain West champions, will visit Laramie for Senior Night in what promises to be a challenging matchup. Tip-off is set for 8:30 p.m. as the Cowgirls look to close out the season on a high note.
