Wyoming’s Small-School Basketball Championships Set to Crown 2025 1A and 2A State Champions

The final weekend of the 2025 Wyoming High School 1A-2A Boys Basketball Championships has arrived, with two teams set to claim state titles, WyoPreps reports.

The Class 1A and 2A state tournaments are taking place in Casper at the Ford Wyoming Center (FWC), Casper College (CC), and Natrona County High School (NC) from March 6-8, 2025.

Both defending champions, the Wyoming Indian Chiefs (2A) and Upton Bobcats (1A), are in contention to repeat their 2024 titles after successfully advancing to the state tournament.

Tournament Schedule and Venues

  • Day 1 (March 6): Opening round games at the Ford Wyoming Center for 2A and Casper College for 1A.
  • Day 2 (March 7): Semifinals and elimination games at Casper College (1A) and Ford Wyoming Center (2A).
  • Day 3 (March 8): Consolation and third-place games at Natrona County High School, while championship games will be held at Ford Wyoming Center.
