The inaugural Wyoming Youth Basketball Association State Championships concluded this past weekend in Casper, Wyoming, with two local teams earning state titles, WYO4News reports.
The tournament, held on March 8 and 9, saw Team 2030, a 7th-grade boys’ team, and Select Basketball, a 5th-grade girls’ team, emerge as champions in their respective divisions.
Team 2030 Wins 7th-Grade Boys’ Championship
Team 2030 secured the 7th-grade boys’ championship with a hard-fought victory over the Casper Grizzlies Green, finishing with a score of 43-33 in the final game.
