A tragic incident in Wyoming has resulted in the death of an 18-year-old after she allegedly exited a moving SUV, according to authorities.

The Wyoming Highway Patrol reported that the event occurred at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Tuesday, March 4, near milepost 1.5 on Rendezvous Road, south of Riverton.

According to a fatality crash summary, the vehicle was traveling westbound when, for unknown reasons, the passenger, Stephanie Grace Bearstail, allegedly jumped out of the SUV.
