The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) Wyoming State Office has issued a correction regarding a recent announcement about its partnership with the Wyoming Honor Farm.

On March 4, 2025, the BLM posted a press release titled “BLM Implements Decision on Wyoming Honor Farm”. However, the agency has since clarified that this release was issued in error and has been removed from its website.

In an updated statement released on March 20, 2025, the BLM confirmed that it is still in the process of reviewing contract proposals for a wild horse gentling and holding facility. The agency emphasized that no contract has been awarded at this time.

For further information, BLM Wyoming Deputy State Director of Communications Brad Purdy can be contacted at 307-775-6015 or [email protected].
