President Donald Trump has called on the Supreme Court and Chief Justice John Roberts to immediately address what he describes as “unlawful Nationwide Injunctions” issued by federal judges, particularly those he labels as “Radical Left Judges,” Fox News reports.

In a series of posts on his Truth Social platform on Thursday, Trump claimed these injunctions, blocking his administration’s efforts to carry out mass deportations and other policy changes, threaten the country’s stability.

Trump specifically criticized the injunctions that have stalled efforts to deport Venezuelan gang members and other criminals. He argued that a president must be allowed to act “quickly and decisively” in removing individuals he deemed a threat to national security, including “murderers, drug lords, rapists, and other such type criminals.”

“Unlawful Nationwide Injunctions by Radical Left Judges could very well lead to the destruction of our Country!” Trump wrote, characterizing the judges as “Lunatics” who disregard the repercussions of their rulings.

The former president’s comments echo past criticisms of federal judges who have blocked aspects of his agenda. His administration has consistently argued that nationwide injunctions impede the executive branch’s ability to implement policy.

Trump also singled out a federal judge presiding over a case involving Columbia University’s refusal to comply with a House Education and Workforce Committee request for information regarding student disciplinary actions. Trump accused the judge of “usurping the presidency” and seeking publicity through “ridiculous” rulings.

“He is a local, unknown Judge, a Grandstander, looking for publicity, and it cannot be for any other reason, because his ‘Rulings’ are so ridiculous, and inept,” Trump wrote.

Trump concluded his Truth Social posts by imploring the Supreme Court to intervene, warning that the country is in “very serious trouble” if the situation is not addressed “IMMEDIATELY.”
