The fifth season of Wyoming high school varsity softball is in full swing, with teams across the state battling for top spots in their respective divisions, Sheridan Media reports.

This year also marks a historic first season for Sheridan High School’s softball team.

Northeast Division

  1. Thunder Basin (4-0)
  2. Campbell County (3-1)
  3. Sheridan (1-2-1)
  4. Worland (0-4)

Northwest Division

  1. Kelly Walsh (2-2)
  2. Natrona County (2-2)
  3. Cody (0-4)
  4. Jackson (0-4)

Southeast Division

  1. Cheyenne East (4-0)
  2. Cheyenne Central (3-1)
  3. Wheatland (3-1)
  4. Torrington (2-2)

Southwest Division

  1. Laramie (3-1)
  2. Green River (2-2)
  3. Rock Springs (1-2-1)
  4. Cheyenne South (1-3)

Results from Last Week

  • Thunder Basin remains dominant, securing wins over Laramie (9-1), Rock Springs (10-8), Green River (20-3), and Cheyenne South (6-4).
  • Campbell County also put up strong performances, defeating Cheyenne South (11-1), Green River (11-2), and Rock Springs (18-5), but fell in a close game to Laramie (2-1).
  • Cheyenne East stayed undefeated, securing victories over Cody (11-0), Kelly Walsh (6-4), and Jackson (15-0).
  • Sheridan earned its first win, defeating Cheyenne South (9-3), but split results with Rock Springs in a 7-7 tie.
  • Laramie picked up three wins, including a big 18-1 victory over Worland.
  • Green River and Cheyenne Central also showed strong performances, picking up multiple wins.

The Lady Broncs will look to improve their record with two games next weekend:

  • Friday, March 28: At Thunder Basin
  • Saturday, March 29: Home vs. Campbell County
