James scored 17 points with six rebounds and four assists in 31 minutes of play.
The Lakers struggled with 21 turnovers, contributing to the Bulls’ dominant performance. Coby White led all scorers with 36 points, including six three-pointers, while Australia’s Josh Giddey recorded a triple-double with 15 points, 10 rebounds, and 17 assists. Rookie Matas Buzelis added 31 points for the Bulls.

• New York: The New York Knicks ended a two-game losing streak with a 122-103 victory over the Washington Wizards. Karl-Anthony Towns led the Knicks with 31 points and 11 rebounds, while Mikal Bridges added 27 points and OG Anunoby contributed 23.

The Warriors were without Stephen Curry, who was sidelined with a bruised pelvis. Jimmy Butler led the Warriors with 25 points.
