Leaders from F.E. Warren Air Force Base, the Wyoming Air National Guard, and local businesses gathered on March 21, 2025, for a Military Affairs Committee (MAC) Luncheon, hosted by the Greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce, DVIDS reports.

The event focused on enhancing collaboration between the military and local vendors.

The luncheon provided a platform for open dialogue and relationship-building, allowing military officials and community members to discuss ways local businesses can support military operations.

Col. Kevin Brown, 90th Mission Support Group commander, highlighted the importance of these discussions.

“The interconnectivity is on full display at the MAC Luncheon. It provides a safe space for F.E. Warren members and local business owners to talk and learn. This panel was amazing in helping us share what it’s like to work with the government and offer valuable resources,” Brown said.

These gatherings also align with the 90th Missile Wing Commander, Col. Johnny Galbert’s, vision of fostering strong military-community relationships, which ultimately helps enhance transparency, cooperation, and support for Airmen.

For the City of Cheyenne, the relationship with F.E. Warren AFB is deeply rooted in history.

“We were built together in 1867, born on the same day,” said Cheyenne Mayor Patrick Collins. “By giving local businesses an opportunity to work with the base and vice versa, we strengthen our relationship both culturally and economically.”
