Gator Greats Visit Trump in Oval Office Amidst UF Basketball’s Final Four Run

It’s a week of high spirits for the University of Florida, with the men’s basketball team heading to San Antonio for the Final Four. Adding to the excitement, two of the university’s most prominent alumni, Tim Tebow and Senator Marco Rubio, recently paid a visit to President Donald Trump in the Oval Office, as per Fox News.
The photo-op, which featured Tebow, his wife Demi-Leigh, Trump, and Rubio, showcased the quartet performing the iconic “Gator Chomp,” a symbol of pride for the University of Florida.
Tebow, a Heisman Trophy winner and former NFL quarterback, has been a vocal advocate for combating child exploitation.
The visit coincided with Tebow’s support for the Renewed Hope Act, legislation designed to enhance the US Department of Homeland Security’s capabilities to identify, rescue, and protect victims of online child sexual exploitation and bring perpetrators to justice. Tebow, through his foundation, has actively partnered with Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) to identify and rescue victims of child sexual abuse.
Last year, Tebow joined Senators John Cornyn (R-Texas) and Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.), and Representatives Laurel Lee (R-Fla.) and Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-Fla.) in announcing the Renewed Hope Act of 2024.
Beyond his advocacy work, Tebow is also anticipating a joyous addition to his family. He and his wife Demi-Leigh are expecting a baby girl later this year.
