Registration is now open for this summer’s Wyoming Children’s Entrepreneur Markets, giving kids ages 5-17 the opportunity to run their own small businesses at local events, K2 Radio reports.
These markets provide a hands-on learning experience where young entrepreneurs can sell products, interact with customers, and develop essential business skills.
This year, five markets will be held at various community events, including:
Downtown Casper Artwalk (two events)
Jackalope Days in Douglas
Platte River Trails Riverfest
Food-a-Palooza and Car Show
The markets will feature a variety of products made and sold entirely by children, ranging from handmade crafts to fresh produce.
“We are thrilled to partner with local events to offer this incredible opportunity for kids to gain real-world entrepreneurial experience,” said Holly Shepperson, manager of the Casper Market. “Not only do they get to sell their goods, but they’ll also learn about budgeting, marketing, and customer service—skills that will benefit them throughout their lives.”
Parents and children interested in participating can find more information and register for a booth by visiting ChildrensEntrepreneurMarket.com or following the “Children’s Entrepreneur Market – Wyoming” Facebook page.
