Wyoming High School Golf Teams Kick Off Spring Season After Weather Delays

After weather forced the cancellation of the first spring golf event, Wyoming high school golfers are eager to take advantage of improved conditions in the second week of the season, WyoPreps reports.

Three tournaments are set to take place across the state, bringing together teams from various regions to compete.

Spring Golf Events for April 11, 2025

  • Buffalo Spring Invite (Buffalo Golf Club)
    This tournament will feature mainly northern Wyoming teams, including Buffalo, Campbell County, Glenrock, Kelly Walsh, Natrona County, Riverton, Sheridan, and Thunder Basin.

  • Ten Sleep Spring Invite (Green Hills Golf Course, Worland)
    A mix of 2A schools and teams from around the Big Horn Basin will compete in Worland. Schools scheduled to participate include Big Horn, Cody, Hulett, Lander, Lovell, Moorcroft, Powell, Sundance, Ten Sleep, Thermopolis, Tongue River, Upton, Worland, and Wright.

  • Wheatland Spring Invite (Wheatland Golf Club)
    Six teams will compete in Wheatland, including Cheyenne Central, Cheyenne East, Douglas, Laramie, Lusk, Torrington, and the host team, Wheatland.
