As of April 13, 2025, Wyoming high school soccer teams are hitting their stride midway through the spring season, with several programs already jockeying for position in their respective regional standings, Sheridan Media reports.
Sheridan and Buffalo continue to make solid showings in their divisions, with important matchups on the horizon.
Class 4A Boys – East Region
Sheridan High School’s boys remain undefeated in conference play with a 2-0-2 record, earning them 8 points, which places them just behind Thunder Basin (4-1, 12 points) in the standings. Overall, the Broncs are 4-0-2, showing strong form both within and outside the conference. Key upcoming games include a home match against Thunder Basin on Tuesday, April 15, and a road game versus Campbell County on Thursday, April 17.
Class 4A Girls – East Region
The Sheridan girls are also off to a strong start. With a 3-0-1 conference record (10 points), they trail only Thunder Basin, which holds a narrow lead with 13 points. The Lady Broncs are 5-0-1 overall and will next travel to Thunder Basin on April 15 before hosting Campbell County on April 17.
Class 3A Boys – East Region
Buffalo’s boys are in a competitive spot with a 2-1 record (6 points), sitting third in the 3A East standings behind Torrington (3-0) and Worland (2-0-1). The Bison are 2-4 overall and are coming off two solid wins, including an 8–0 shutout over Rawlins. Their next challenge comes at home against Worland on Thursday, April 17, a key match for their playoff hopes.
Class 3A Girls – East Region
Buffalo’s girls are also holding their own with a 2-1 conference record (6 points), tying Worland in points and trailing only Douglas, which remains undefeated in conference play. The Lady Bison bounced back from a tough loss to Douglas with a shootout win over Rawlins. Their upcoming match against Worland on April 17 could play a critical role in determining seeding down the line.
