Wyoming residents seeking live entertainment have more opportunities to enjoy stand-up comedy this summer, as the number of performances across the state continues to rise, County 10 reports.
A key driver of this growth is the recent renovation of Casper’s historic Rialto Theater, which has been a cornerstone of local entertainment since 1921. Following its latest renovation in 2024, the venue has begun hosting an impressive schedule of stand-up comedians throughout the summer of 2025. The lineup includes a range of well-known names such as:
Chris D’Elia – April 24
Beth Stelling – May 9–10
Patton Oswalt – May 16–17
Steve Byrne – June 14
Bobcat Goldthwait – June 26
Dave Koechner – June 27
Jeff Dye – August 1
Kevin Farley – August 15
Karen Morgan – September 19–20
The Rialto joins a number of other Wyoming venues committed to bringing comedy to the stage. The Cheyenne Civic Center has a long-standing tradition of hosting big-name comedians, with past appearances from Jerry Seinfeld, Dave Chappelle, Bill Burr, and others. In 2025, Jo Koy has already performed there, and Louis C.K. is scheduled for May 30.
Cheyenne’s Black Tooth Brewing Company is also contributing to the comedy scene by featuring emerging comedians, with Zane Lamprey scheduled for April 27.
In Gillette, the Cam-Plex Events Center will host the “Mom’s Unhinged” comedy tour on May 7, featuring Janae Burris, Merit Kahn, and Stacy Pederson.
While Casper’s Ford Wyoming Center has recently welcomed major acts such as Bert Kreischer and Nate Bargatze, no new comedy shows are currently announced for the venue. However, its history of drawing large audiences suggests it could continue to be a significant player in the state’s comedy scene.
Additional small venues across Wyoming are also regularly hosting comedy nights, helping to build momentum for stand-up entertainment in a state where such performances have traditionally been less frequent.
