The University of Wyoming men’s basketball program continues to build its roster for the upcoming season, with head coach Sundance Wicks announcing the addition of two transfer guards to the Cowboys’ 2025–26 squad, University of Wyoming Athletics reports.

Khaden Bennett, a transfer from Quinnipiac, and Adam Harakow, formerly of Lake Superior State, both join the program with two years of eligibility remaining.

These additions bring the total number of transfers signed by Wyoming this offseason to four, as the coaching staff works to shape a team that aligns with its competitive and team-first culture.

Bennett, a 6-foot-4, 205-pound guard from Mansfield, Texas, appeared in 49 games over two seasons at Quinnipiac, including 20 starts. In the 2024–25 season, he averaged 10.3 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. He made 39 three-pointers during the season and recorded a career-high 23 points against Sacred Heart.

A former District 8-6A Offensive Player of the Year at South Grand Prairie High School, Bennett also spent a year at Choate Rosemary Hall in Connecticut. Known for his versatility and leadership, Bennett is expected to contribute on both ends of the floor for the Cowboys.

Harakow, a 6-foot-7, 215-pound guard/forward from Edmonton, Alberta, comes to Wyoming after two years at NCAA Division II Lake Superior State. He played in 63 games during his time there and was a key contributor to a 30-7 season that ended with an NCAA Division II Elite Eight appearance.

In the 2024–25 season, Harakow averaged 11.8 points and 4.4 rebounds per game in just 19 minutes of playing time. He also made 37 three-pointers and earned GLIAC Defensive Player of the Week honors in January.

Before college, Harakow played at Western Canada Prep Academy and was nominated for the 2023 Biosteel All-Canadian Game. He was also recognized as one of the top 15 shooters in Canada by North Pole Hoops.

Coach Wicks emphasized that both players were chosen not only for their basketball abilities but also for their character and cultural fit within the program.

“In this year’s recruiting class, we have targeted specific guys for a specific mission,” Wicks said. “Each young man we sign has been intentionally identified, obsessively analyzed, and thoroughly vetted to fit our Cowboy Culture.”
