Wyoming Sees Slight Dip in Average Gas Prices Amid Broader National Trend

Gasoline prices in Wyoming have edged down slightly over the past week, reflecting a broader national pattern of modest fuel cost reductions, Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports.

According to a recent survey by GasBuddy.com, the average price per gallon in Wyoming dropped by 2.7 cents, reaching $3.11 as of Monday. The data is based on reports from 494 gas stations across the state.

Despite the weekly decline, current gas prices in Wyoming remain 6.3 cents higher than they were a month ago. However, they are still 19.5 cents lower than the same time last year.

Price differences within the state remain notable. The lowest reported price on Sunday was $2.85 per gallon, while the highest reached $4.29 — a difference of $1.44 per gallon.

Nationally, gas prices also trended downward. The average US price fell 3.4 cents over the past week to $3.10 per gallon. Compared to a month ago, this represents a slight decrease of 1.8 cents, and a more significant drop of 54.6 cents from a year ago.

In addition, the national average price of diesel declined by 2.7 cents over the last week, settling at $3.519 per gallon.
