The University of Wyoming men’s golf team is set to compete in the 2025 Mountain West Conference Championships, taking place this weekend at Emerald Valley Golf Club in Creswell, Oregon, County 10 reports.

The three-day tournament runs from Friday through Sunday, with each round featuring 18 holes on the par-72, 7,210-yard course.

Play begins at 8:30 a.m. PT on Friday, with start times shifting to 9 a.m. on Saturday and Sunday.

Heading into the championship, Wyoming sits near the middle of the conference rankings at No. 105 nationally. Mountain West competitor San Diego State enters as the top-ranked team at No. 16, followed by UNLV (No. 35), Colorado State (No. 45), and New Mexico (No. 48). Other conference opponents include San Jose State (No. 97), Boise State (No. 107), Fresno State (No. 109), Nevada (No. 151), Utah State (No. 157), and Air Force (No. 240).

The Cowboys concluded the regular season with seven top-10 team finishes. Their standout performance came at the Duck Invitational, where they finished second — the program’s best result since winning the 2023 Wyoming Desert Intercollegiate.

Wyoming has demonstrated consistency across its roster, with five players — Patrick Azevedo, Jaren Calkins, Kristof Panke, Davis Seybert, and Brody Leid — each earning three top-25 individual finishes this season.

At last year’s Mountain West Championship, Wyoming tied for seventh place with a three-round score of 868 (+4) at the same Emerald Valley course. The Cowboys have finished between fifth and ninth place at the conference tournament over the past four years.

The NCAA will announce its regional selections on April 30, with regional competition set to take place May 12–14 at sites around the country.
