The Casper Police Department is investigating two separate shootings that occurred Sunday evening, both resulting in multiple individuals being transported to the hospital.

The first incident was reported around 6:50 p.m. when the Public Safety Communications Center received a call about a traumatic injury and possible gunshots in the 1900 block of South Missouri Avenue. Responding officers located two individuals with apparent gunshot wounds. Both were transported to Banner Wyoming Medical Center for treatment.

While officers were responding to that scene, they received a second, unrelated report of a shooting in the 100 block of South Washington Street. One individual was located and also taken to Banner Wyoming Medical Center.

Authorities have not released further details regarding the conditions of those involved. Both incidents remain under active investigation, and the Casper Police Department is asking the public to avoid the affected areas while the inquiries continue.
