Actress Amber Heard has announced the birth of twins, a boy and a girl, marking what she calls the “completion” of the family she has long hoped to build, The Associated Press reports.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Heard, 39, revealed that she has welcomed two new additions to her family: a son named Ocean and a daughter named Agnes. She shared a tender photo of the twins’ tiny feet to accompany the announcement.
“Becoming a mother by myself and on my own terms despite my own fertility challenges has been the most humbling experience of my life,” Heard wrote. “I am eternally grateful that I was able to choose this responsibly and thoughtfully.”
The Aquaman star is already the mother of 4-year-old daughter Oonagh Paige, whom she introduced to the world in 2021. In her post, which coincided with Mother’s Day celebrations, Heard reflected on her journey to parenthood and expressed deep gratitude for reaching what she described as a long-held personal milestone.
“Today I celebrate the completion of the family I’ve dreamed of,” she wrote.
Heard has been living in Spain in recent years, following her widely publicized legal battles with ex-husband Johnny Depp. Since relocating, she has kept a relatively low public profile, occasionally sharing glimpses of her life abroad and her role as a mother.
