Legion Baseball Action Continues Across Wyoming: Week of May 12–18, 2025

The Wyoming Legion Baseball season enters its seventh week with a full schedule of games running from May 12 through May 18, My Country 95.5 reports.

At least one matchup is scheduled each day, culminating in a packed weekend of non-conference doubleheaders, regional rivalries, and one Double-A conference series.

The action began Monday, May 12, with the Green River Knights earning their first win of the season, defeating the Rock Springs Stallions 8–0. Houchin threw a 3-hit shutout, striking out five and walking three.

On Tuesday, May 13, the Douglas Cats topped the Cheyenne Eagles 9–5 in a 9-inning game. The Torrington Tigers and Westco Zephyrs (NE) split a doubleheader, with Torrington winning the first game in walk-off fashion, 7–6, and Westco dominating the second, 16–7. The Cheyenne Hawks also pulled off a late rally to defeat the Laramie Rangers AA, 11–9. A scheduled game between Rock Springs and Evanston was rained out.

Midweek Matchups

Wednesday, May 14, featured four more games:

  • Laramie Rangers AA at Wheatland Lobos (5 & 7 p.m.)

  • Riverton Raiders at Douglas Cats (9-inning game)

  • Gillette Rustlers at Rapid City Post 22 Expos (9-inning game)

  • Rapid City Post 22 Hardhats at Gillette Riders (9-inning game)

Thursday and Friday Games

On Thursday, May 15, the Gillette Riders travel to face the Sheridan Troopers in a single 9-inning contest.

Friday, May 16, sees the Lovell Mustangs visiting the Miles City Mavericks (MT) for a doubleheader starting at 5 p.m.
