The University of Wyoming football program has added transfer cornerback Dainsus Miller to its 2025 roster, head coach Jay Sawvel announced Tuesday.
Miller joins the Cowboys after two seasons at Mercer University, where he played a key role in the Bears’ deep run in the FCS Playoffs last season.
Miller, a 5-foot-10, 170-pound native of Fairburn, Georgia, brings experience and playmaking ability to Wyoming’s secondary. In 2023, he appeared in nine games for Mercer, tallying 23 total tackles, four interceptions, seven pass breakups, and a blocked kick. He made a notable impact in the FCS Playoffs, recording six tackles and two pass breakups in a matchup against North Dakota State. One of his standout performances came against Wofford, where he notched two interceptions.
Prior to his time at Mercer, Miller began his collegiate career at Marshall University, primarily contributing on special teams as a freshman. His high school career at Creekside High School in Georgia was equally impressive. As a senior, he registered 49 tackles, an interception, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, and 12 pass breakups. He also earned recognition as a track and field athlete, helping lead his school to a state team title.
