French technology firm Capgemini announced on Monday a strategic collaboration with German software giant SAP and artificial intelligence developer Mistral AI to deploy generative AI solutions tailored for highly regulated industries.
The partnership aims to address the specific needs of sectors with stringent data and compliance requirements, including financial services, the public sector, aerospace and defense, and energy and utilities. These industries often face unique challenges when adopting emerging technologies due to security, privacy, and regulatory constraints.
At the core of this collaboration are Mistral AI’s generative AI models, which will be integrated with the SAP Business Technology Platform. According to Capgemini, this integration will support the development of customized AI-powered tools that help businesses streamline operations, automate processes, and enhance decision-making.
As part of the initiative, Capgemini is introducing a library of over 50 prebuilt AI use cases, designed to demonstrate how generative AI can be effectively applied in complex business environments. These use cases will serve as a resource for organizations seeking to explore AI implementation while maintaining compliance with sector-specific regulations.
