Former LSU gymnastics star Olivia Dunne stole the spotlight at the Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Runway Show over the weekend, dazzling the Miami Beach crowd with a surprise athletic display.
Dunne, wearing a black-and-white polka dot swimsuit adorned with red bows, confidently walked the runway before breaking into a signature split at the end of the catwalk — a nod to her gymnastics roots. The crowd erupted in applause as she struck the pose with a smile.
As she made her way back down the runway, Dunne shared a playful moment with musician Xandra Pohl, briefly bumping hips. In another appearance, she sported a bikini and a cropped tee that read “Sports Illustrated Swimsuit,” celebrating her recent debut as a cover model for the magazine’s iconic annual issue.
Dunne, who helped lead the LSU Tigers to a national championship in 2024, was one of four featured cover models this year, joining Lauren Chan, Salma Hayek, and fellow gymnast Jordan Chiles. Her final season with LSU was impacted by injury, but she remained a prominent figure in the NCAA sports world.
With more than 8 million TikTok followers and 5.3 million on Instagram, Dunne is among the most-followed collegiate athletes in history. She’s leveraged her popularity into a growing public profile beyond gymnastics, appearing at high-profile events and in national campaigns.
