The Wyoming Arts Council, in collaboration with Wyoming Humanities, has announced the release of the 2025 Wyoming Road Trip Playlist — a curated collection of music and podcasts created by Wyoming-based artists and storytellers, Wyoming Tribune Eagle reports.

Released annually, the playlist is available on Spotify and promoted throughout the state at popular tourist destinations including State Parks, Historic Sites and Trails, visitor centers, museums, and festivals.

“Music has an amazing ability to connect people to a place,” said Kimberly Mittelstadt, creative arts specialist with the Wyoming Arts Council. “The playlist is more than just a collection of songs and podcasts — it’s a way for travelers to experience the spirit of Wyoming.”

This year’s edition features 34 songs and 5 podcast episodes. The musical selections were curated by Rachel Hergett, a writer, DJ, artist, and educator from Bozeman, Montana. The podcast selections were chosen by LaNaya Butler, conversations coordinator at Colorado Humanities.

The playlist is part of the Wyoming Independent Music Initiative (WIMI), a program designed to support and grow Wyoming’s music industry by providing exposure and opportunities for local musicians and creatives.

The 2025 Wyoming Road Trip Playlist can be found on Spotify by searching “2025 Wyoming Road Trip Playlist” or visiting spoti.fi/3FyX777.
