Antonio Brown Wanted on Attempted Murder Charge After Alleged Shooting Incident at Miami Boxing Event

Former NFL wide receiver Antonio Brown is reportedly facing an arrest warrant in Miami-Dade County following an alleged shooting incident at a boxing event in Miami last month.
According to a report by The Washington Post on Thursday, Brown has been charged with attempted murder with a firearm in connection with an altercation that occurred on May 16 outside a boxing event in the Little Haiti neighborhood. The warrant calls for Brown to be held on a $10,000 bond and placed under house arrest while awaiting trial.
The incident reportedly unfolded during a late-night fight card hosted by popular streamer Adin Ross, and sponsored by Stake, Kick, and Brand Risk Promotions. The event featured 10 bouts and drew a large online and in-person audience.
Video footage circulating on social media appears to show Brown in a physical altercation in a parking lot near the venue. In one clip, a scuffle is seen breaking out as a crowd shifts toward an alleyway. A gunshot can then be heard, prompting panic as people fled the scene. Brown was later seen in handcuffs being led toward a police cruiser.
While no injuries were reported, the Miami Police Department confirmed that officers responded to reports of shots fired shortly after 3 a.m. on May 17. Authorities launched an investigation at the time, though no arrests were initially made.
“Officers responded to an alert of gunfire near the event location,” a department spokesperson said. “No victims were located and no injuries were reported.”
Brown, a former star with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and other NFL teams, has frequently made headlines for off-field controversies in recent years. This latest development adds to a growing list of legal issues surrounding the former Pro Bowler.
