Windish RV Center, a longstanding family-owned RV dealership group based in Colorado, has acquired Airstream of Utah in West Valley City and Airstream of Wyoming in Etna from Dennis and Laura Decker, RV-PRO reports.
The transaction, facilitated by Performance Brokerage Services, marks Windish RV Center’s first acquisition and its expansion into neighboring states.
Founded in 2017 and 2022 respectively, Airstream of Utah and Airstream of Wyoming were developed by the Decker family, who brought deep personal passion and industry experience to the venture. Dennis Decker, originally from Jackson, Wyoming, had previously launched one of the state’s leading RV dealerships in Cody before venturing into the tech industry and eventually returning to the RV world alongside his wife, Laura.
The two dealerships, which became known for a family-centric customer experience and earned Five Rivet status from Airstream, were created with support from the Deckers’ children and a close-knit team. The Wyoming location is adjacent to the Grand Buffalo RV Resort, which Dennis and Laura Decker will continue to own and operate.
Reflecting on the sale, Dennis Decker shared, “Each person that came to our two dealerships, Airstream of Utah and Airstream of Wyoming, entered as a guest and left as family. We are most proud of the relationships and friendships we made along this incredible journey.”
The buyers, Windish RV Center, were carefully selected by the Deckers.
“Finding the perfect buyer was of paramount importance,” said Laura Decker. “The Windish RV team met all the criteria we were looking for to take over the businesses and relationships we worked so hard to develop. Airstream of Utah and Airstream of Wyoming continue to be family-owned and cared for by the Windish family.”
The acquisition was brokered by Jesse Stopnitzky, co-owner and director of the RV Division at Performance Brokerage Services.

Established in 1965, Windish RV Center operates three multi-brand RV dealerships and an Airstream-exclusive dealership in Denver. The addition of the Utah and Wyoming locations marks a strategic growth step for the company as it broadens its presence in the Intermountain West.
Both dealerships will continue to operate under the Airstream brand at their current locations: 3131 West 2210 South in West Valley City, Utah, and 22 Rorke Road in Etna, Wyoming.
