The annual CanAm Bowl returns for its 27th edition on Tuesday, July 1, 2025, in Rosetown, Saskatchewan, Canada, WyoPreps reports.

This international six-man football showcase features Team USA taking on Team Canada in a contest that highlights recent high school graduates from both nations.

Kickoff is scheduled for 8 p.m. local time. Rosetown, the host town, is located just over three hours northwest of Regina, Saskatchewan, and approximately four hours north of the US-Canada border near north-central Montana.

Team USA comes into the game with a strong track record, having won 12 of the last 13 matchups and leading the overall series 21-5. In last year’s game, held in Meeteetse, Wyoming, the US squad defeated Canada by a score of 65-44.

This year’s Team USA roster includes standout players from Wyoming, Colorado, Montana, Nebraska, and Texas. Among the group are two Wyoming athletes: Joe Bassett from Burlington and Bridger Cozzens from Little Snake River in Baggs.

The American team is led by head coach Scott Reed of Farson, Wyoming. Assisting him are coaches Thomas Tritz (Oakwood, TX), Sam Weeldreyer (Little Snake River, WY), and Zeb Hagen (Meeteetse, WY).

The complete Team USA roster is as follows:

  • Wyoming: Joe Bassett (Burlington), Bridger Cozzens (Little Snake River)

  • Colorado: Kolter Cranson (Branson/Kim), Chason Turner (Cheyenne Wells)

  • Montana: Luke Kelley (Centerville), Nate Nelson (Chester/Joplin/Inverness)

  • Nebraska: Maddox Jones (S.E.M.), Anthony Kling (Pawnee City), Colton Rohde (S.E.M.), Dylan Young (Hay Springs)

  • Texas: Cameron Grant (Three Way), Ethan Kauffman (Whiteface), Jeremiah Rendon (Whiteface), Ayden Salazar (Jayton), Braden Steele (Borden County), Gavin Wilbanks (Oakwood)

The Saddle Rock Sports Network is expected to provide coverage of the game through their social media platforms, including Facebook and YouTube.
