The Wyoming Transportation Commission has awarded $18.5 million in contracts for a series of construction and infrastructure projects throughout the state, Construction Equipment Guide reports.
The contracts, covering 11 Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) projects, were approved during the commission’s regular business meeting on May 15.
The projects—many funded primarily by federal dollars—include bridge replacements, pavement and slab repairs, sign upgrades, pavement markings, and pedestrian crossing lighting installations. Scheduled completion dates range from late 2025 through 2027.
The largest contract, valued at $13.69 million, was awarded to Simon Contractors of Cheyenne. This bridge replacement project will span multiple locations in Platte County and includes structure work, asphalt paving, aggregate surfacing, traffic control, and grading. Completion is expected by November 30, 2027.
In Carbon County, Reiman Corp., also based in Cheyenne, received a $1.48 million contract for replacing the bridge over Muddy Creek on County Road 702. That project is set to finish by July 31, 2026.
Other contracts include:
$491,410 to Keyhole Technologies LLC (Casper) for sign replacement work in Big Horn, Crook, Johnson, Sheridan, and Washakie counties.
$587,900 to DeBernardi Construction Co. Inc. (Rock Springs) for slab replacement and concrete paving in Lincoln and Sweetwater counties.
$391,150 to Traffic Safety Services Inc. (Cheyenne) for pavement striping in Carbon and Laramie counties.
$323,441 to Superior Sign & Supply LLC (Casper) for pavement markings in Converse, Goshen, Natrona, and Platte counties.
$281,020 and $225,469 to S & L Industrial (Cowley) for separate pavement marking contracts in several northeastern and northwestern counties.
$330,600 to Streamline Markings Inc. (Montana) for pavement striping in Lincoln, Sublette, Sweetwater, and Teton counties.
Two state-funded projects were also approved:
$445,503 to S & L Industrial for logo sign upgrades in Albany, Carbon, Laramie, and Sweetwater counties.
$258,579 to Wescom Inc. (Gillette) for installing lighting at pedestrian crossings over Interstates 25 and 80 in Cheyenne.
Most projects are expected to be completed by October 31, 2025, with the exception of the Platte County bridge work, which extends into late 2027.
