The United States will send additional weapons to Ukraine as part of its ongoing support, President Donald Trump announced.

Speaking during a press briefing, Trump stated that the upcoming shipment would include advanced artillery systems, ammunition, and air defense equipment. He noted that the decision aligns with previous U.S. efforts to provide military assistance to Ukraine while maintaining American security interests.

Trump highlighted that the U.S. would continue working with allies to monitor the situation and provide support where necessary.

Officials have not disclosed specific timelines for the delivery, but the Pentagon confirmed preparations are underway to coordinate logistics for the transfer of equipment. The announcement comes as discussions continue among U.S. and European officials regarding long-term security frameworks and regional stability.

Trump also reiterated that diplomatic solutions remain essential for resolving the broader situation, stating that the U.S. remains open to dialogue while supporting Ukraine’s immediate defense needs.
