The 2025 Wyoming Legion Baseball season came to a close last weekend, with both of the state’s regional contenders bowing out. The Gillette Roughriders went 2-2 at the Northwest Regional in Billings, Montana — both losses coming against the eventual championship teams. The Lovell Mustangs had a similar fate at the Class A Regional in Burley, Idaho, going 1-2 with one loss to the eventual champs there as well.
Here’s how every team stacked up when the dust settled this season.

- Cody Cubs – 36-22, 7-3
- Powell Pioneers – 29-30, 7-3
- Lovell Mustangs – 34-27, 6-4
- Evanston Outlaws – 22-25-2, 5-5
- Riverton Raiders – 21-29, 5-5
- Green River Knights – 8-35-1, 0-10
A East Division
- Casper Drillers – 35-15, 12-4
- Wheatland Lobos – 34-19, 11-5
- Torrington Tigers – 27-24, 11-5
- Sheridan Jets – 26-26, 10-6
- Gillette Rustlers – 26-33, 9-7

Two Wyoming squads made it to the big regional stage this year, but neither could punch a ticket to nationals. Still, the season saw plenty of tight races, standout performances, and packed grandstands — setting the stage for what should be an even more competitive 2026 season.
