Travelers flying into Cody, Wyoming, now have another option for aviation services. Beacon Air Group has officially opened a new fixed-base operator (FBO) at Yellowstone Regional Airport (KCOD) — marking the company’s second location after debuting in Billings, Montana, last year, AIN Online reports.

Beacon didn’t just move in; they gave the place a serious upgrade. The refurbished 3,000-square-foot terminal is now pet-friendly and packed with amenities: concierge service, a comfortable passenger lounge, a 20-seat conference room, a business center, crew cars, and plenty of vehicle parking.

The FBO also boasts a 9,000-square-foot hangar that can fit aircraft up to a Citation Excel, with arrangements in place to shelter even larger midsize jets. And Beacon isn’t stopping there. Owner Joel Simmons says the company is already eyeing new development at the airport, including a hangar big enough to handle large-cabin private jets.

“While Beacon Air Group is new to Cody in name, our roots here run deep,” Simmons said. “We’ve built the last 14 hangars at this airport and have long been advocates for its growth. This new FBO is just the next step in supporting Cody’s aviation future.”

As an Avfuel-branded facility, Beacon will offer perks like Avtrip loyalty rewards and contract fuel pricing, sweetening the deal for frequent flyers.

For Yellowstone Regional, already a key gateway for travelers headed to Yellowstone National Park, the arrival of Beacon means more choices, better service, and another boost for Cody’s aviation profile.
