Wyoming’s 2026 Wildlife Calendar Up for Preorder

Wyoming’s 2026 Wildlife Calendar Up for Preorder

Wildlife lovers, mark your calendars — literally. The Wyoming Game and Fish Department just announced that the 2026 Wyoming Wildlife calendar is officially in the works, and preorders are now open.

Each year, the department runs a photo contest that draws submissions from across the country. The winners, snapped in Wyoming’s backcountry, show off everything from elk herds to mountain ranges to the kind of sunsets that make you pull over just to stare. Those images will now fill the pages of the new calendar, giving each month a snapshot of the Cowboy State’s wild side.

Only a limited batch is being printed, so getting an order in early is key. Preorders are open through Oct. 9, with calendars shipping out in November — just in time to slip under a Christmas tree or stuff into a stocking.

The calendar is published by Wyoming Wildlife magazine, the monthly publication from Game and Fish that’s been a staple for hunters, anglers, and outdoor enthusiasts for decades. Subscriptions run $17.95 a year and can be picked up at wyomingwildlife.org or by calling 1-800-710-8345.

If you want the 2026 calendar, preorder now at the Wyoming Wildlife website before they sell out.
